Bloomfield (NavajoNaabi.ání) is a city in San Juan CountyNew MexicoUnited States. It is part of the Farmington Metropolitan Statistical Area. Bloomfield High School is located in Bloomfield, New Mexico. This is in the Four Corners area of Colorado, Arizona, Utah and New Mexico.

The high school's attendance area covers the town and communities south and east of Bloomfield along US 550 and US 64. The area includes 1508 square miles.

The school's colors are Blue and Gold and the mascot is the Bobcat.

A wide variety of activities, sports and clubs are available.
BHS is a Title 1 school.
Bloomfield High School is a four-year public high school, enrolling approx. 850 students in grades 9 through 12.
Approximately 28% of the students at BHS are Caucasian, 30% are Hispanic, and 40% are Navajo/Native American.
Curriculum
The academic program is organized on a hybrid 40% block / 60% 7-period day schedule. (Mondays, Thursdays + Fridays are 7 period days, but Tuesdays + Wednesdays are 85 minute block days.)  We offer mandatory intervention (RTI) and enrichment classes twice a week, and require a smaller group mentoring period with a teacher/staff member once a week.
Honors + AP classes: All are on a 5 point scale; we currently offer 20 honors classes, and 2 AP English classes: Biology-Special Topics, Calculus, College Economics-Dual Credit, Conceptual Math-Dual Credit, Honors Anatomy & Physiology, Honors Chemistry-Dual Credit, Honors World Hist/Geo, Honors Biology, Honors NM History, Honors Physical Science, Honors Principles of Democracy, Honors US Gov’t Politics, Honors US History, PAP Engl LangArts 1, PAP Engl Lit 10, Physics-Adv Studies, Pre-Calculus, Spanish 3-Dual Credit , Spanish 4-Dual Credit, and SPCH 111-Dual Credit, AP Engl Lang/ Comp11, and AP Engl Lit/Comp 12,
College credit classes: A number of our students are taking dual credit classes—some on our own high school campus with our teachers as adjunct faculty; some students drive 25 minutes to San Juan College (SJC) to take classes on campus, while others take SJC online classes for dual credit.
